Those who have politicised e-SL program should be fully responsible for this mishap.

First set of Nenasalas were connected using exorbitant VSAT technology. Abeywardhana of TV Lanka fame, a strong supporter of the ruling political party was awarded the tender for Rs. 90 million annually to connect 100 Nenasalas. That is a bill of Rs. 75,000 per month for one - something they could never cover even if they work on 24x7 basis.

Then ICTA realised the mistake and in the next round leaving VSAT aside used three operators to provide connection. However, some of the Nenasalas are out of the range these three operators offer broadband services. This is the reason for those Nenasalas not having Internet.

This is the price tax payers pay to build the image of politicians through government agencies.

No Internet for nenasala?

Please don't blame me for that. I have nothing to do with nenasala. I only reengineer governments.
