This goes to show that the research on the issue of mobile alerting is lacking in the developed world, but that organisations like LA in Sri Lanka have made greater progress on this front into which they are seeking to tap into. It would behoove every country to take note of this trend, especially the Sri Lankan government, and get on with instituting a comprehensive warning solution.
