She is a Lawyer by profession with over 14 years experience and holds a Master of Laws in Information Technology and Telecommunication. She is a past Chair of GSMA Asia Pacific (GSMAAP) 2007/2009, the Regional Interest Groups of the GSM Association, representing 140 plus operators in over 40 destinations in Asia Pacific.
She held concurrent positions of Chief Corporate Officer and CEO of Dialog Global, (the International Business Segment) of Dialog Axiata PLC of Sri Lanka and counts over 14 years of senior management experience in Telecom sector.
She is an alumni of the US State Department/FORTUNE International Women Leaders Mentoring Program.
Her diverse areas of expertise include strategic planning, profitable account management of high value strategic businesses, expert advice on legal, regulatory, human resource, corporate responsibility and governance, and leading cross functional teams to implement new initiatives to generate revenues.
Her consistent efforts to maintain cross border relations with counterparts of globally renowned international carriers and active participation at international conferences have further enriched her experience as a facilitative business professional with a flair for excellent consensus-building.
She presently functions as the Executive Vice President of Multinet Pakistan (Pvt) Ltd, Pakistan while being based in Colombo.
