Dharshana Kasthurirathna, PhD

Research Fellow

Dr. Dharshana Kasthurirathna graduated from the Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering, University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka in 2004. He also holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the School of Computing, University of Colombo, Sri Lanka.  He has over 7 years experience in the ICT industry, both as a Software Engineer and a researcher. He obtained his PhD in Complex Systems from the Faculty of Engineering & IT, University of Sydney, Australia in 2016. His research interests include Social Network Analysis, Complex systems, Computational Game theory, Machine Learning and Distributed Computing. Currently he’s a Senior Lecturer (Higher Grade) in the Dept. of Software Engineering of the Faculty of Computing, Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology, Sri Lanka.
