Hina Sarfaraz

Research Fellow (Pakistan)

Hina Sarfaraz joins LIRNEasia for the project, ‘Mobile2.0@BOP’ where she leads a component on ‘Freedom of Expression in Dissemination of Mobile Content: Pakistan – legal perspective’.

Previously, she has been a co-researcher of the Six-country Study report on Telecom Regulatory Environment: Pakistan, 2007, where  her experience as a research assistant in the Law and Policy Department of Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), Pakistan was useful. 

Hina has a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management Information Systems from Institute of Management Sciences, Lahore, Pakistan. She has an LL.M in International Commercial Law from University of Westminster, London and is currently taking a short course in EU Economic and Competition Law at the University Institute of European Studies, Turin, Italy.

Her key interest areas are business, information and communication technologies (ICTs) and law.
