Senior Research Fellow (Pakistan)
Joseph currently leads LIRNEasia’s Sector Performance Review study for Pakistan. He previously led a similar study measuring telecom sector and regulatory performance in Pakistan in 2006.
Joseph has over 18 years of experience of practice, research, and teaching in regulatory laws. He was an Associate Professor of Law & Policy at the Lahore University of Management Sciences, Pakistan before joining the Competition Commission of Pakistan (CCP) as member . Dr. Wilson has earned Doctor of Civil Law (D.C.L.) with Deans Honour List and Masters of Law (LL.M.) degrees from McGill University, Montreal, Canada, where he was a recipient of Justice Greenshield’s Memorial Scholarship. He also holds an LL.M. from the University of Georgia, USA. He has presented at various international conferences, published in international law journals and authored a book title “Globalization and the Limits of National Merger Control Laws (published by Kluwer Law International). He is a member of the State Bar of New York, USA and Lahore High Court Bar, and also serves on the International Advisory Board of the Loyola University Chicago’s Institute for Consumer Antitrust Studies, USA.
