Mobile Craig’s List in Bangladesh

A colleague from IDRC has written about:

CellBazaar (https://www.cellbazaar.com/) . .   a community-centric, mobile phone based market to connect buyers and sellers, especially in rural & mofussil (semi urban/rural) Bangladesh. It’s a platform for people to use to find each other’s products. Kamal Quadir (now an MIT fellow) who was also the original thinker of Grameen Bank Village Pay Phone idea is also the founder of this. It looks sort of craigslit idea but its runs through a cell phone based network.

Would be interesting to see what our readers think about this.
