Irrespective of whether we have an immediate need or not, we are always interested in hearing from high caliber individuals interested in making policy level changes in emerging Asia in the sectors we work in. Researchers/Junior Researchers

You have a Bachelors (or equivalent degree) in a relevant field (economics, statistics, international relations, engineering) with a 2:1 or higher grading (GPA of 3.0 or higher). You are an excellent writer who can demonstrate your writing skills with recent examples of writing that we will require you to produce. You communicate well, and work well with minimal direction. You also have a high level of computer literacy.

Senior Research Managers and Research Managers

You have around five years of work experience in consulting, project management, research or other highly analytical position, as well as a Masters or PhD in a relevant field such as statistics, economics, business, law.

Interns/Graduate Research Assistants

You are currently completing a Bachelors or Masters Degree (or have just completed one) and are interested in experiencing work in a think tank working in the Asia Pacific. You are highly numerate, and able to produce high-quality work (including writing) with minimal direction. The minimum time period for an internship is 6 months (of which at least 3 must be spent in Sri Lanka in our office)

Research Fellows and Policy Fellows

You have significant expertise and skill in sectors we work (e.g. ICT regulation/policy, agriculture markets) and/or high level of skills in econometrics, statistics, big-data analysis, quantitative and qualitative research methods in the social sciences. You have Ph.D. or Masters Degree and a minimum of seven years of work experience) in a relevant field. You have a track record of publication in recognized journals and are an already established name in your field/country. You are now looking to add to your profile by becoming a policy intellectual in the region and extend your network of influence. We are open to a variety of engagements from full-time work, part-time work or individual (project based) engagements while you are still attached to your current employer.

Big Data Researcher

Do you want to work on cutting-edge research and application of Big Data? Are you interested in becoming a data scientist? Do you want to contribute to innovative solutions for social good that also have applications for private enterprise? Do you have dreams of graduate studies and want to boost your research skills? If so, we may be interested in you. We are looking for researchers with solid data mining and/or statistics skills to join our big data analytics team.
