Anish Fonseka joined LIRNEasia in February 2025 as a Junior Researcher. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from New York University’s College of Arts & Sciences, where he majored in Economics and minored in Environmental Studies and Creative Writing.
Previously, Anish worked as a Project Manager at CAFT, a startup focused on developing robotic solutions for agricultural automation in Sri Lanka. His interests lie in food and the environment, and he is currently exploring eco-friendly and commercially viable protein substitutes using bivalves and terrestrial insects.
