Junior Researcher

Chanduni joined LIRNEasia in February 2025 as a Junior Researcher, focusing on projects related to Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI). Prior to this, she worked as a Junior Research Analyst with the Parliament Research Team at Verité Research, where she conducted data analysis, compiled research publications and advisory briefings, and coordinated parliamentary research activities.

In this role, she served as a focal point for Members of Parliament (MPs) through the Parliament Research Service (PReSS), responding to research inquiries. She also worked as the Assignment Lead for a research initiative, overseeing deliverables aimed at enhancing Manthri.lk as a brand.

Previously, Chanduni interned with the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau (SLTPB), where she managed internal and external communications, coordinated media familiarization trips for tourism promotion, and contributed to discussions on establishing the Single Window Approval Process (SWA) — an online system designed to streamline approvals for international film productions in Sri Lanka.

Chanduni holds a BSc in International Relations from the University of London and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Development Studies at the University of Colombo.
