Dilshan is a Research Fellow at LIRNEasia, exploring how and to what extent ICTs can be used to enhance the lives of persons with disability, with a focus on India. Earlier, as a Graduate Research Assistant, he conducted similar research in Myanmar. He also currently manages a project on Social Cohesion and Reconciliation at the National Peace Council of Sri Lanka. As a sociologist, Dilshan’s primary research interests lie in political economic analyses of labor and social relations, with a focus on South and East Asia.
Dilshan has a Masters in Applied Sociology from Clemson University, USA.
