Sachini joined LIRNEasia in February 2024 as a Junior Researcher, where she is currently working in projects concerning data localisation and cross-border data policies.
She holds a BSc with First Class Honours in Business Economics from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. Sachini is an Attorney-at-Law and is currently pursuing an MSc in Applied Statistics at the University of Colombo.
Her professional journey includes roles such as a Junior Macro Analyst in a fund management company, where she focused on macroeconomic research within the context of Sri Lanka. Additionally, Sachini has experience as a legal apprentice, specialising in civil and commercial law.
