Shenali is currently a junior researcher at LIRNEasia. Her current research interests lie at the convergence of technology, economic growth, and sustainability. Shenali holds a BSc in Economics (honours) from the University of London.
Prior to joining LIRNEasia Shenali has worked in the finance departments of MAS, a leading apparel manufacturer in Sri Lanka and :Different, a property management start-up based in New South Wales. After a brief stint working as a freelance journalist for the daily FT, she became a part of the research and communications teams at the Advocata Institute. Shenali was a member of the IMF Youth Fellow cohort in 2022.
