The 2008 course was held in June. It is most likely that the 2009 course will be held in June 2009 either in Singapore or in Bali. Please check on the site or send an email.

The 2009 course was held in Cape Town in April 2009. Please check http://lirneasia.net/capacity-building/training-courses/ periodically. We will post the 2010 course details when our African colleagues, who are in charge of the course now, announce a date/location. LIRNEasia and Asian researchers will continue to be involved, though it will be offered in Africa.

Researchers, practitioners, activists and journalists attended to learn about these tools, and how they can potentially help them in their own lines of work.
