His name is Khan. Salman Khan. Bill Gates is one among his countless students, yes a student, in Khan Academy. This Bangladeshi-American is the only teacher in this virtual academy. He uploads 10~15 minutes video tutorials on maths, economics, biology, history etc. His language and presentations are very simple. That’s all a student (Including Bill Gates) needs. Khan’s more than 1,600 tutorials are being visited  around 70,000 times daily. Since its inception in late 2006, Khan Academy has received 18 million page views worldwide. Most viewers are from the U.S., followed by Canada, England, Australia, and India. In any given month, Khan says, he’s reached about 200,000 students. He has been featured on the PBS NewsHour, CNN, and National Public Radio. In 2009, the Khan Academy received the Microsoft Tech Award for education. In 2010, Google  provided $2 million to support the creation of more courses and to enable the Khan Academy to translate their core library into the world’s most widely spoken languages. Fortune reports.
