LIRNEasia at Internet Governance Forum in Baku, November 6-9

We’re irregular visitors to IGF (Helani went to Rio and Hyderabad; I went to Sharm el Sheikh, . . . ). But this year is kinda exciting, with the WCIT sword hanging over the multi-stakeholder model.

I will be on a main panel, talking about the enabling environment. This session is on the 7th of November (Tuesday) 1500-1800.

In addition, I am speaking at

  • WS 142 Inclusive innovation for development: The contribution of the Internet and related ICTs, 6th November 1630-1800 at conference room #10, and
  • OECD Open Forum: Promoting policies for the Internet economy: Discussion of the most recent OECD Recommendations, 9th November 1100-1230 at conference room #4

With LIRNEasia moving into the Internet policy space, this should be a good event.
